Field Day – Sunday, November 6

Field Day is this Sunday, November 6, at Whitmer High School stadium. Field Day is a special day where all WJFL teams to come together and play in this amazing stadium. Each team gets a short amount of time on the field to play against a team with a similar season record. The “game” is shown on the big screen with announcers identifying players and plays over the sound system for all to hear. It’s a lot of fun and the kids love it!

The Mods/Juniors will play at 10:05 AM against the Rams. Players need to be at the stadium at 9:15. Meet under the jumbo screen at the south end of the field. Please wear your game uniform. Cheerleaders need to meet Coach Wendy at 9:30 AM at the stadium by the bleachers closest to Alexis Road. Please wear skirts over the warm up pants.

Seniors will play at 12:10 PM against the T-birds. Players need to be at the stadium at 11:15 AM. Meet under the jumbo screen at the south end of the field. Please wear your game uniform. Cheerleaders need to meet Coach Heidi at 11:30 AM at the stadium by the bleachers closest to Alexis Road. Please wear skirts over the warm up pants.

As part of our league commitment, the Hornets need to volunteer at this event. We must have 10-12 parent volunteers. We are scheduled to volunteer from 12:40-1:40. We need 2 people to sell programs, 2 for the 50/50 raffle, 1 pulling trash if needed and 5-7 people in the concession stand. All volunteers should meet at the concession stand no later than 12:30.
