Each year, Bedford High School hosts a Youth Night at one of their home games. This year’s event is scheduled for Friday, September 7, at the Bedford vs. Central Catholic game. The game is at the Bedford Community Stadium at 7 PM.
At BHS Youth Night, Bedford youth football teams and cheerleaders are invited onto the field to form a tunnel for the BHS football players to run through at the beginning of the game. Hornets football players are asked to wear their game day jerseys and cheerleaders are asked to wear their cheer uniform. They will be admitted free to the game and may stay to cheer on the Mules with family and teammates. (Family members will need to pay the standard game admission price.) Coaches will not be responsible for any children at the tailgate or after the “tunnel” so please have responsible adult with all children.
The Hornets Boosters will kick off this great night with a Tailgate Party!
Please join us at 5:30 PM behind the junior high for food and fun!
Each Hornet is asked to donate items for the Tailgate Party:
Senior Football Players – 1 pack of hotdogs
Junior Football Players – 1 pack of hotdog buns
Mods Football Players – 1 dozen cookies
All Cheerleaders – 1 variety pack/box of single-serving size bags of chips
Bring your donation to practice no later than Thursday, September 6. The Boosters will supply ketchup, mustard and bottled water. Please bring your own drinks if you prefer something other than water.
